The most presumed Angola Oil and Gas (AOG) 2021 conference is going to be held on the 9th to 10th of September this year at Centro de Convencose de Talatona in Luanda.

Energy Capital and Power (ECP), Angola’s national oil company Sonangol was officially confirmed as the primary sponsor of the pending Angola Oil and Gas (AOG) 2021 conference.

The AOG 2021 conference is an exclusive invite-only function that will host and unite private sector executives, international stakeholders, oil and gas industry leaders, and government representatives under one event.

As claimed to be the third largest company in Africa and as one of the continent’s leading national oil companies, Sonangol is expected to reiterate the value of new and projects, an Angolan objective, by highlighting the vast investment opportunities available across the entire value chain and by also promoting Angola as a rewarding destination for international investments.

At the AOG 2021 event Sonangol will showcase an update on the company’s regeneration program which is designed to achieve the objective of restructuring the company in a bid to increase profitability and transparency, and Sonangol’s position as an internationally competitive oil major.

Sonangol will represent attendees with an overview of current activities, promising investment opportunities as the firm is said to be focused on the promotion of industrialization and sustainable development of Angola’s energy sector in order to guarantee a greater return to the Angolan State.

Sonangol’s diamond sponsorships emphasize on the firm’s objective to build stronger business relationships among regional and international oil and gas industry participators especially with the local government.

With the company actively seeking partners to help boost Angola’s oil and gas sector, drive new exploration and production activities, Angola will experience and witness progress in socio-economic growth and energy independence as the AOG 2021 is said to be a great provider of a platform that brings together companies like Sonangol with the intention to create long term energy partnerships with crucial stakeholders.

Based on the Angola Oil and Gas industry, The Roadmap to Regeneration and Growth, the AOG 2021 will see to current government reforms within the industry, the state’s tax incentive packages, and the recent licensing round announcement for offshore blocks in the Lower Congo and Kwanza basins.
